Technical Visit and Optional Tour

JTB Global Marketing & Travel Inc. (JTB GMT) has been appointed as the official travel agent for the Congress and will handle tours.

The following tours are operated by JTB GMT, and Clients who participate in tours will conclude an Agent-Organized Tour Contract (“Tour Contract”) with JTB GMT. The tour conditions are subject to the followings, Tour Conditions attached otherwise, Final Tour Itinerary delivered before departure and “Terms & Conditions of Travel Contract” (Agent-Organized Tour Contract). If there is a divergence between the following description and the Tour Conditions attached otherwise, the following description is preferentially applied.

ALL tours operate in the afternoon on Thursday, 17 October 2024 with the following conditions.

Guide	English-speaking guide service is included
Meals	No meals
Transportation	Bus

Remarks

- The application is first-come-first served basis. It will be closed when the application reached to the max number.
- The price is for one Person (Japanese Yen, tax included)
- Buses will be used for all tours. (Bus is operated by any of the followings; Totokanko Bus, Tanzawakotsu Bus)
- When the minimum number of participants as stipulated by JTB GMT has not been reached, JTB GMT shall notify the clients of tour cancellation not later than September 16th, 2024.
- For Metal 3D Printer Factory Tour, attendees are required to provide specific personal information according to a visiting company’s regulations. Please understand that there is a possibility of refusing your participation for the security reason.

1. Yamanashi Prefectural Maglev Exhibition Center & Mt. Fuji (Half day tour)

Pacifico Yokohama and hotels 12:00 = Oshino Hakkai = Yamanashi Prefectural Maglev Exhibition Center = Mr. Fuji = 18:30 Pacifico Yokohama and hotels

Oshino Hakkai:: Oshino Hakkai is a popular tourist destination near the base of Mount Fuji. It’s a small area that features traditional village houses, shops and watermills set against a spectacular backdrop of Japan’s most famous mountain.

Yamanashi Prefectural Maglev Exhibition Center:: At the Maglev Exhibition Center that opened in conjunction with the commencement of testing at the Yamanashi Maglev Test Track, guests will not only be able to see tests with their own eyes but also learn about superconductive linear mechanisms and the Linear Chuo Shinkansen plan in detail.

Note:

- Test run schedule of the week is announced on Friday evening of the previous week.
- Details such as operating hours will not be announced in advance.
- Test run schedule is the current schedule and is subject to change or cancellation without notice due to the circumstances.

2. 3D Printing Corporation Factory (Half day tour)

Course	Pacifico Yokohama and hotels 13:00 = 3D Printing Corporation = 16:30 Pacifico Yokohama and hotels 3D Printing Corporation Factory: 30 persons each for Resin 3D printer and Metal 3D printer. Demonstration includes designing 3D data and explanation of software. 3D Printing Corporation Factory

Minimum number of participants necessary for the tour	15 persons
Maximum attendee of the tour	approx. 60 persons

Sightseeing

3. Hakone Sightseeing (Half day tour)

Course	Pacifico Yokohama and hotels 13:00 = Hakone Ropeway and Owakudani = 17:45 Pacifico Yokohama and hotels Hakone Ropeway and Owakudani: The observation platform offers breathtaking views of ‘Owakudani’, Hakone’s most famous tourist spot. Desolate mountainside covered by plumes of smoke produce a distinct scene so fitting the area’s former name of Hell Valley. Now, the Hakone Ropeway rising above Owakudani. There are also many scenic spots to be seen from the ropeway. Traveling from Sounzan to Owakudani, passengers can see the bottom of the valley below, and, when on route to Togendai, they can enjoy views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi. Hakone Ropeway Owakudani

Reservation and Entry into Effect of Tour Contract

The deadline of application for Tours is September 16th, 2024. It is required to pay the total amount of Tour Price above by the deadline as application deposit to JTB GMT stated in Article 3 and Article 24 of Tour Condition attached. JTB GMT accepts reservations for a Tour Contract by online specified by JTB GMT. The Tour Contract is not in effect at the application until Client has paid total amount of Tour Price. Client shall pay the total amount of Tour price by credit card under instructions of JTB GMT otherwise.

Please refer Article 3 of the attached Tour Condition for the time of entry into effect of the Tour Contract.

Technical Visit / Sightseeing Reservation Deadline: September 16th, 2024

Cancellation

*In case of cancellation, your deposit will be refunded after deducting the cancellation fees as shown below.
*Refunds will be made after 21st Oct.
*Please revise and/or cancel your reservation from your "My Page" by the reservation deadline.
*If you would like to revise and/or cancel your reservation after the deadline, please send your request by email. If the request is received outside business hours, the arrangements will be handled on the next business day.

Cancellation Policy

11 or more days prior to the tour day	No charge
10 to 8 days prior to the tour day	20% of total tour rate
7 to 2 days prior to the tour day	30% of total tour rate
1 day prior to the tour day	40% of total tour rate
Day of the tour day	50% of total tour rate
After the day of the tour day or No notice given	100% of total tour rate

This Tour condition is on the basis of April 1st, 2024. Tour Price is calculated on the basis of effective transportation charges and rules on April 1st, 2024. We will not re-operate the tour in any circumstance.
