Technical Programs

Paper presentations: Technical sessions (oral and poster presentations) and special sessions are being scheduled, and more than 500 papers will be expected
Scope: All fields of powder metallurgy, ranging from basic science to applied technology, will be covered.

　　

Outline

Key Dates: 15 January 2024: Abstract Submission Deadline

Participants wishing to make a presentation in the technical program are cordially invited to submit an abstract in English no later than this deadline.

By the end of February 2024: Notification

All submitted papers will be reviewed and allocated to oral or poster sessions by the Technical Committee, based on authors' choices. The acceptance notification will be e-mailed to the authors.

Oral Sessions

20 minutes will be allocated to each paper including discussion time. (There is a possibility to change the presentation time due to the limits of the time schedule.) All presentations must be given in English and are limited to one speaker per presentation.

Poster Sessions

Posters created in English will be on display throughout the congress period. Authors will be provided specific time for one-on-one discussions.

*Papers should be on original and unpublished work covering the results of the latest research, innovations or improvements in powder metallurgy processing or products. Commercialism in abstracts, manuscripts, visuals, oral/poster presentations will not be permitted.

Abstract Submission

Submission: Only online submission will be accepted.
More detailed information how to submit an abstract will be updated around July-September 2023.

WORLD PM2024 Best Presentation Award / Best Poster Award will be offered to the outstanding presenters.

Congress Proceedings

All papers of oral / poster sessions will be published in the Congress Proceedings. Guidelines for the preparation of manuscripts will be notified to authors with their acceptance letters by the end of February 2024.

The proceedings will be published after the Congress. The inclusion of a paper, both oral and poster, in the final WORLD PM2024 program will be dependent upon meeting the below deadlines:

  • Manuscript Submission Deadline: 30 June 2024
    The manuscripts will then be reviewed by the allocated referee, who will liaise with authors directly during the review process to produce the final finished and approved manuscript.
  • The presenting author completing the delegate registration and payment by around July 2024.

All invited and contributed papers will be peer-reviewed by the Technical Committee.

Participation

All costs related with congress participation, including travel, hotel, and meal expenses, are the responsibility of the individual participant/speaker and not of the congress organizers. Reduced speaker registration rates will be available for participating speakers (not for co-authors).
